Rooms equipped with Zoom room functionality can be schedule for a hybrid event.


Important

Rooms need to be booked in the Booker system. Inviting a room to a calendar event is no substitute for a booking.

  1. Open the Outlook calendar and click “New event” to create a new calendar event.
  2. Add a name and description.
  3. Invite attendees.
  4. Fill in the date and time for the event.
  5. Press Zoom icon and then Add a Zoom meeting
  6. If necessary, log into your Zoom account 
  7. When a Zoom session is added to calendar event, under Search for room or location, locate the desired Zoom Room
  8. Save and send a calendar invitation 

If you have performed these steps correctly, you will receive automatic calendar event confirmation from the room
