Important
Rooms need to be booked in the Booker system. Inviting a room to a calendar event is no substitute for a booking.
- Open the Outlook calendar and click “New event” to create a new calendar event.
- Add a name and description.
- Invite attendees.
- Fill in the date and time for the event.
- Press Zoom icon and then Add a Zoom meeting
- If necessary, log into your Zoom account
- When a Zoom session is added to calendar event, under Search for room or location, locate the desired Zoom Room
- Save and send a calendar invitation
If you have performed these steps correctly, you will receive automatic calendar event confirmation from the room
