  • Open a course and enable editing

 

  • Click “Add activity or resource” at the necessary topic

 

  • The material / activity selection window will open. Choose “Link” on the “Resources” tab.

 

  • On a new tab, open a video source, such as Panopto, and copy a link to this video

 

  • Copy the video link to the “External link” window, enter the link name that will appear in the e-study course and click “Save and go back to course”

 

How to embed a video using a text editor

Using the text editor, it is possible to display video in different places of the course content, such as a text page or an electronic test question. Using this method, you can embed a video anywhere where the Moodle text editor is used.

  • Go to a video service provider, such as Panopto, and copy the “Embed” code

 

  • Expand the text editor in the e-studies text editor by clicking the first icon and clicking “HTML”

 

  • The content of the text editor will convert to a HTML code. Copy the previously copied EMBED code at the end and press “HTML” on the text editor toolbar again

 

  • The video will be displayed in the text editor, and after the content is saved it can also be viewed by students (on a text page, in an electronic test, etc.
